Appreciating Kehkashan and her group’s campaign against fossil fuel in UAE, they were invited to be a part of the launch in the UAE of Fisker Karma , the world’s first environmentally-responsible luxury car , which is currently Top Gears Luxury Car of the Year.

Among the guests at the launch was young environmentalist Kehkashan Basu, 12. She said: ìSustainable transport is the call of the day and this car is a big step forward. Instead of spending thousands on designer clothes, one must decide that buying a hybrid car is more like an investment in support of the environment whose benefits will be reaped by our future generations.î
